You may already own Edgar Wright's Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, but will we ever see his sitcom Spaced on DVD? And could there be another Spaced project in the works?

by Alex Vo on Monday, Jul. 30 2007, 11:19 AM comment 6 Comments

Sam Raimi was on hand at the Screen Gems panel, presenting two clips of the upcoming graphic novel adaptation, 30 Days of Night. The flick stars Josh Hartnett as a sheriff leading a band of survivors after vampires descend upon their isolated, wintry town. by Scott Weinberg on Monday, Jul. 30 2007, 02:33 AM comment 17 Comments

While sitting on a Comic Con panel, Frank Miller was asked about the hold-up on Sin City 2. (Numerous times, probably.) And it looks like the celebrated author / artist / filmmaker is laying the blame solely at the feet of the Weinstein brothers.

by Scott Weinberg on Monday, Jul. 30 2007, 02:15 AM comment 45 Comments

If Narnia producer Douglas Gresham has his way, there will be seven big-screen adaptations to match the books before Disney and Walden Media are through with the property -- provided, of course, the audience still shows up each time.

by Henry Ham on Friday, Jul. 27 2007, 06:21 PM comment 14 Comments

Here's another example where the trailer doesn't lie. We caught a late screening of Shoot 'Em Up last night, and it's everything the trailer suggests: a straight forward action with a weird setup (Clive Owen vows to save a baby from the bad guys despite having no connection with anybody involved) and even weirder characters.
