If the movie got it in his head that people value comic con as much as they value a very old, very popular holiday, then i don't see how the film didn't accomplish what it was trying to do. I'm not bitching that he gave it a rotten, this site is built on opposing opinions, but if you're going to review a documentary, be objective about it. Instead he picks on "fanboydom" in his full review. Half of his critique is about the event, not the movie. He might as well be saying "Black Swan sucked because ballet sucks" or "Toy Story is for kids and I'm a big boy!"
