Ratner Puts Brakes on Conan Reports

Film sites were abuzz this week with the news that Brett Ratner had committed to directing the new "Conan" movie, but there's one major problem: According to Ratner, the announcement was premature. Back to Article

Keep the original score and get somebody else to direct this please! Ratner MIGHT be able to pull this off, but I'd rather see someone else take a shot.

Good luck with BH Cop 4 btw. That's going to be brutal. Like the originals, but don't see how a new one is going to work.

Why the hell does Lerner seem to want Ratner so bad?

I am sure that there are other good directors out there that love Conan.

I hope Ratner drops out because of this, that would be AWESOME! CONAN is an actual cool character and it could be an awesome movie with a good director.

"Ratner was the perfect director. "He has the passion and feeling for this project--he even wrote a story about Conan when he was 10 years old," "

When I was 10, I was moved up into the hard reading group. And this man was writing Conan at that very age. To think one day he'll be directing Eddie Murphy. A-list indeed.
