Conan's Making a Comeback!
Fans of the seminal Robert E. Howard character "Conan" will consider this pretty good news: Veteran filmmaker Boaz Yakin will be bringing the barbarian back to the big screen, and the plan is to stick more closely to the Howard books than the Ahnold movies from the early '80s.
From Variety: "Warner Bros. has set Boaz Yakin to write and potentially direct "Conan the Barbarian," a new take on the Robert E. Howard-created character. WB is eyeing an early 2007 production start for the film. Yakin's concept is more faithful to the Howard story than were the two Dino De Laurentiis-produced "Conan" films that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as the sword-wielding conqueror."
--
Mr. Yakin's previous films include "Fresh," "Remember the Titans," and ... "Uptown Girls."

ajmueller writes: on Jun 16 2006 12:19 AM Conan's pretty damn funny, but I find that he repeats content too much. Like the few weeks before he went to Finland, he just talked about it ALL THE TIME. He said the same damn things and it got kind of boring. (Reply to this) |

Anyways, hopefully this fill will be un-holy amounts of awsome with heads being cut off every which way and wenches being done proper. (Reply to this) |
