Excited for Henry Selick's 3D stop motion animation adaptation of Neil Gaiman's kid tale, Coraline? Check out the complete A-Z collection of promotional character posters here!

Based on Neil Gaiman's (Stardust) award-winning children's story, Coraline follows the teenaged title character -- newly moved into a creaky old house and ignored by her busy parents -- as she discovers a magical "Other" world where her "Other" parents are way more awesome and treat her like a princess. But Coraline's improved "Other" life may not be all that it seems, and she must find a way to escape the new dangers and enemies that threaten the ones she loves. Coraline features the voice work of Dakota Fanning (as Coraline), Teri Hatcher (as Coraline's Mother), Ian McShane (as the eccentric neighbor, Mr. Bobinski) and more.

The best part about Coraline? It's not only a stop motion film handcrafted by Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas), it will be released in 3D in select theaters on February 6, 2009.

We've updated our Coraline gallery with the complete A-Z set of special alphabet promo posters featuring characters and (lessons that rhyme!) from Coraline. Click on images above to view the full high res gallery!

Coraline opens February 6 and is rated PG for thematic elements, scary images, some language and suggestive humor.

I seriously cannot wait for this movie to come out! I mean, it's has the perfect ingredients to be mind-blowing: a great horrorish story made into a claymation film by the director of "The Nightmare Before Christmas".

With this, "$9.99", "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and Sundance Fest's "Mary and Max" all being released, it's going to be an incredible year for the beautiful art of claymation filmmaking!
