Reviews for The Corruptor
It's rote baloney, trotting out every dead-stupid cop-movie cliche in the book and doing it colorlessly.
For some reason, American filmmakers have yet to figure out how to properly use Chow Yun-Fat.
Hard Boiled, directed by the master of the genre, director John Woo, is a cult favorite. The Corruptor isn't in that league.
Despite a few unlikely plot developments, "The Corruptor" is compelling from start to finish
Take away all the flash and dazzle, and what you're left with in The Corruptor is a police procedural.
The film takes too long to get what little there is to start started and then never goes anywhere interesting.
