Audience Reviews for Cours du soir (Evening Classes)

Hard-to-find Jacques Tati-involved half-hour short, recommended to fans of Tati. Tati injects his comedy now and then, the premise itself isn't as funny now as it might've seemed in the late '60s. But having Hulot participate in the silly "examples" makes up for that. The class is more like having a class clown for a teacher; naturally, some dialogue is worth a chuckle or two. Some surprising scenes involve Tati referencing himself way back when and the final shot which gives a lot of insight into Tati's probable sets.
