Made 20 years BEFORE GoodFellas, Peter Boyle, Eli Wallach, Henry Winkler and many not shown on RT's credits star in this fantastic MOB film. Made by Dino Di Laurentiis, the producer which years would bring so many great and not so great films to the screen.

Crazy Joe is a 1974 Italian drama film directed by Carlo Lizzani. It is based on the real life events of Joseph Gallo, a mobster member of the Colombo crime family.

The soundtrack is great and period too. It sure looks like Martin Sorscese STOLE the idea for GoodFellas after seeing this film! It appears way too much like it.

NOTE: When the movie starts, the date is Sept. 15, 1960. The men are riding in a car. They begin to sing along with an opera that is playing on the radio. The car arrives at it's destination, a charcoal grill. When they exit the car it is plain to see that the car hasn't even been built yet.
