The series centers around Takashi Kamiyama, a normal 16-year-old with average grades who somehow ends up at the infamous academy and is forced to navigate its brutal social hierarchy of juvies, outlaws, bullies, and thugs--as well as a 400-pound gorilla, a robot who thinks he's human, and a Freddie Mercury wannabe. Based on a hugely popular manga, CROMARTIE HIGH SCHOOL parodies the world of boy-school anime with meta style, tongue-in-cheek humor, and plenty of references to the operatic rock band Queen. This fourth volume concludes the wacky anime series with six episodes. [More]
