The movie provides nothing unique but is an average entertainer. IMO, watch it only if you don't have any other better option. Salman Khan, Vinod Khanna & Arbaaz Khan are as usual, while debutant Sonakshi Sinha doesn't get much to do. Anupam Kher & Om Puri are wasted.
The best thing about this macho action masala flick is the dialogues. The dialogues are mostly clever and funny and provides most of the fun. Salman shone in the tailor made role. Expect more films of this kind from him. Sonu Sood was good, the guy is so underutilised in most flims. Sonakshi was the most confident debut I've seen since Hrithik. No kidding. The music is awesome. The action scenes are over the top, just as they are meant to be. Over all, its like a Telugu film made in Hindi and it is fun while it lasts.
this movie copied way too many scenes and sequences from various American, French & Hong Kong films...I mean way too many such as District 13 Ultimatum, Romeo Must Die, The Transporter, Dao Huo Xian to name a few. (I hate the lack of creativity and blatant film plagiarism! especially when the original films worked hard to come up with the techniques and executions of the action and shots to have another film just copy and rob...DO NOT GET ME STARTED WITH THE FILM ZINDA! There is a fine line between 'inspired by' and 'stealing'. Kill Bill is inspired by, Zinda is stealing)
Also, the film shoves the "male cojones" around with the slapping people and macho I say what goes thing like any Southern Indian Action Hero film, but I think other Indian actors sell it better like Chiranjeevi for an example...and I don't even prefer that style of hero. The only thing cool about this film is the Tamil style groovy cool songs, but that's why you buy a CD and not the film.
An additional final note from the experience of watching this whole film: there is nothing brilliant or heroic of a 'death by forced blow job to a running tractor's exhaust pipe'. Oy Salman, I know you can do better.
