Movie Info

We aren't surprised in the least that spooky ol' Anthony Perkins has a pivotal role in the creepy Daughter of Darkness. Mia Sara plays the leading role of a young woman tormented by horrible nightmares. Certain clues in her dreams motivate her to return to her home town of Budapest. Here Mia discovers that she is a true "daughter of darkness"--she is the last in a long line of mittel-European vampires. Made for TV in 1987, Daughter of Darkness didn't receive airplay until 1990.

Audience Reviews for Daughter of Darkness

Mia Sara plays the most adorable screen queen you've ever seen and for a while puts the lines through some real emotions and rhythms.

It's got style for a television movie, and Stuart Gordon chooses the right make-up effects to make the TV audience the most uncomfortable. Anthony Perkins doesn't embarrass himself. The script can get embarrassing though, especially to Jack Coleman.
