Tom's dreams of starting his own business are shattered when his rebellious daughter Kathy (Heather Tom) is found brutally murdered. Kathy was not your typical teenager. Engaging in sordid affairs with older, married men, she had more than her share of secrets. Tom promises his wife Carol (Pamela Reed) that he will find her killer, but as the investigation proceeds, Tom himself becomes the strongest suspect. Carol is torn between standing by her husband and listening to the police. As the investigation continues, secrets from Tom's past reveal a trail of deceit that points close to home.
