Death Rides the Plains (1943)
Though released in May of 1943, the PRC western Death Rides the Plains didn't hit the New York market until January of 1944. Bob Livingston stars as The Lone Rider, with Al St. John in his standard "Fuzzy Q. Jones" characterization. This time out, the Lone Rider vows to bring a gang of land-grabbing outlaws to justice. The crooks are systematically killing off anyone who intends to buy land legitimately, thereby scaring off the competition.
