Audience Reviews for Decade Of Disturbed
Decade of Disturbed is an interesting documentary of the rock band Disturbed. The film chronicles their rise through success and features in depth interviews with the band members. In the genre, Disturbed have been one of the most popular acts in modern rock and metal music, and the film does a great job at capturing that vibe. This is a film for fans only, and I really liked it, considering I'm a fan of the band, but also I felt that it could have been a bit better. I felt it was a bit too short, and it would have been better if it would have shown a bit more. However, for Disturbed fans, this is the film to watch, it goes in depth about the band, and features footage from when they started out, right to the time they got signed to a major label and onwards to major success. Disturbed are a very good band and with Decade of Disturbed, they give their fans something very good. This is worth seeing if you love the band and want to know more about their history. I really thou8gh that it showed a different side to the band, and despite the fact that it's a little short, there is enough content here to satisfy diehard fans. What's great about the documentary is that it also shows the dedication of their fans, ands appreciation of what the music means to them. I had the opportunity to meet David Draiman and he is a very humble person, and he was so appreciative of when I told him that I was a fan. Disturbed appreciate their fans, love to perform and give one great performance. Decade of Disturbed isn't perfect, but it's worth seeing if you enjoy the band.
A graphic and well-shot look at one of the more popular metal bands of the last ten years. While it is definitely annoying that there is no background given about these guys' childhoods or how they came to become so passionate about what they do - the film makes up for this for the most part by covering the following of fans this group has attained. Although there are definitely better documentaries about music out there ("Anvil! The Story of Anvil"), this is by no means a horrible addition, but it's not a great one either.
Great documentary! I love the band so I might be a bit biased but very high quality and even better... its free!
