Tropic Thunder Cruise-ing for a Cameo? Opens in new window

It isn't next year's most buzzed-about movie, but judging from its cast -- which includes Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., and a presumably lucid Nick Nolte -- there's a lot of press in Tropic Thunder's future. Sundance News: "Son of Rambow" Is Fest's Biggest Sale; "How She Move," "The Signal," Others Also Acquired Opens in new window

Paramount Vantage snagged "Son of Rambow" for $7 million, making it the biggest Sundance purchase so far. The studio also acquired "How She Move" for $3 million; "Teeth," "The Signal," "La Misma Luna," "Dedication," and "Nanking" have also been picked up. More...
