Critic Review - Movie Metropolis

You've got to fight the feeling of resentment that the filmmakers are exploiting two things, big-time: the outburst of emotion for Katrina victims, and the patriotic fervor and terrorism paranoia that's become a part of our post-9/11 world.

That may be your view but from others outside the US bubble of isolation, it simply represents a terrific movie in no way connected to the location except a one liner and the isolated blown up buildings scenary. Unless you are relating the tragic emotion of grief, but that is like saying a past away relative is exploiting a did-saster because they share the same emotion.
