Denver & Rio Grande

Critic Consensus: No consensus yet.

Movie Info

This action western chronicles the race between two rival railroad freight lines--the Denver and the Rio Grande, and the Canyon city and San Juan--to cross the Rockies first. The good-guy is the engineer of the D & RG line. The bad engineer will stop at nothing to win. The action includes, gun fights, fist fights, landslides, and a head-on train crash using real, full-size trains (most films used minatures).

Audience Reviews for Denver & Rio Grande

Breathtaking scenery and old pros ZaSu Pitts and Dean Jagger help but this is mediocre at best with a surprisingly hammy O'Brien.
