Bruce Willis Starts Shooting "Die Hard 4" -- in Baltimore

Yes, that's right: The newest "Die Hard" entry, tentatively (we hope) entitled "Live Free or Die Hard," has begun production in Baltimore -- a city that has a really awesome aquarium, should you ever spend a weekend there.

From WJZ.com: "The production company for the fourth 'Die Hard' film, tentatively titled "Live Free or Die Hard," has setup shop in Baltimore for a weeklong shoot, starting Saturday.

Star Bruce Willis once again plays NYPD detective John McClane, who battled European terrorists in an L-A high-rise in "Die Hard" (1988), drug-world terrorists at DC's Dulles airport in "Die Hard 2" (1990) and the brother of the lead terrorist from the first film in "Die Hard With a Vengeance."

In his latest battle, Willis takes on techno-terrorists who are trying to shut down the nation's computer systems on the Fourth of July.

'Die Hard 4' is bringing a vote of confidence to Maryland, which is fast becoming the new Hollywood. In 2004 the John Travolta flick 'Ladder 49' was filmed in Baltimore, and earlier this year the Disney Studios film 'Step Up' was shot on location in Charm City."

Isn't this where John McLaine helps his cousin Jimmy McNulty when a 3rd Gruber brother pops up, backing Barksdale's drug ring?

Also, Samuel L. Jackson and Lester Freamon get it on with strippers.

Where did you get your information? Or is it just specultaion? Anbody think "16 Blocks" would've made a good John McClane vehicle?

Where in Baltimore?
Anyone know where in Baltimore they'll be shooting?
When Bruce Willis was shooting 12 Monkeys, my sister and I spent the whole day chasing him through the city, always 5 minutes behind and just missing him.
This time we're determined to meet him!!

I love John McClane. Unlike stupid, mega-publisiced, too-loud, self-shoulder- patting heroes and heroines of today--McClane remains a true "Hero of the people", and one you could reallly like---

Since I know people in my life, who are as fun (and still human and hero-like), as how Bruce Willis portrayes John McClane--- it serves in making this hero (McClane) a protagonist you can identify with and truely like.

The Baltimore Aquarium is, in fact, pretty awesome. I especially liked the rain forest on the top floor.

Are they actually going to film a scene in the Baltimore Aquarium? How about this scenario: Just when it looks like John McClane is doomed, he shoots the glass of the tank holding the deadliest sea predators. All the water gushes forth in a torrent, and with it the piranha fish and the sharks . . . the secondary bad guys get stung all over by killer jellyfish but John takes down the Great White with a few bullets to the eyes . . . then he punches out the main baddie who falls and lands on top of a sting ray which pierces his heart with its deadly tail . . . Naw, that's too unrealistic.

no, it is NOT necessary, but bruce's career is sagging behind 'sin city'; nothing else to note in the pipeline in the foreseeable future.
why else do a 3rd sequel?
artisitic integrity was left at the door in 1990.
