If you love Digimon, here's more. No surprises.
| Original Score: 3/5
The fight scenes ... are thrilling, the friendships among the Digidestined children are way cool, and the protective gestures of the older kids toward the younger ones in the movie are probably a good example for all.

The animation itself isn't anything special -- not that the target audience cares much about that. But the message is sweet and empowering.
Overall, it's a pleasantly bearable experience.
This full-length animated film actually isn't bad.
I found the movie exciting enough to keep me interested.
It's tons of fun, but it's also a rapid-fire, chaotic, bizzaro world that may give you a seizure if you stare at it too long.
Can be surprisingly smart and lively in its early going, thanks to some cheeky, well-written humor, a genuine sense of excitement and topical ties to the Internet.
The movie can actually make for a great afternoon.

The film's animation is second rate with dull colors and fuzzy drawing. Neither this, nor the lackluster music, can compensate for the story's confusion.

If there is any taste left in the world, the buck may very well stop here.
Parents, if you don't want to compete with popular culture to raise your child ... this is where you draw the line in the sand.
Digimon isn't deserving of much, as it's still not a very good movie. But at least it's not as bad as Pokemon.
