It's not the terrible acting or obvious low-budget that I object to, but rather the lame storyline and complete lack of scares.

Those unfamiliar with the endless streams of Z-grade slasher flicks will miss much of what Director's Cut has to offer, but old-school Gorehounds will absolutely appreciate the goods.

Alternately funny and derivative, Director's Cut is disappointing namely because it doesn't build to a climactic finish, as any good horror flick has to do.
