Jeff, Starship Troopers was INTENDED as a satire of the military, but it was so subtle that no one even noticed it

No, it was simply poorly executed. Don't get me wrong, I dig ST, but it had a lot of rough spots. District 9 is light-years ahead.

let's just say i laughed as hard in both films. both were train wrecks :( i do NOT understand the love for this movie. i tried to be open minded, i really did... but what a stinker
