After seeing sensational sequences one after another in this movie, and one of my top ten now...

1.Django Unchained (very close to pulp fiction)
2.Pulp Fiction
3.Inglourious Basterds
4.Kill Bill
5.Reservoir Dogs (amazing film, but i think Tarantino has gotten even better since his debut)
6. Jackie Brown
7. Death Proof (never seen it, but it is almost unanimously is worst.)

4. Django Unchained
5. Reservoir Dogs
6. Inglorious Basterds

Doesn't filmography imply films he directed? if so, True Romance shouldn't be on the list... He only wrote it....

Man, this is a hard one. I could put them in almost any order and it would still be valid. I rank Death Proof as last, like most people and Tarantino himself, though I do love the movie(especially the first half), and I've been almost tempted to also put Reservoir Dogs there from strictly a production value standpoint, but even then, it did have great production value, and after thinking about it, I can't do that, it's one of my very favorites, so, I don't know, I guess I'd have to say: All of Tarantino's movies other than Death Proof(including the three he didn't direct)and then Death Proof..
If I was really forced to make a list though, I guess it would have to go like this:

1.Kill Bill
2.True Romance
3.Pulp Fiction
4.Inglourious Basterds
5.Reservoir Dogs
6.Django Unchained
7.From Dusk Till Dawn
8.Jackie Brown
9.Death Proof

Then again, I could put that in a completely different order, almost ANY other order, and it would be valid to me. I pretty much consider his whole filmography to be at the same level of greatness, and of course, Death Proof doesn't quite make the cut, but I don't see it as a slip-up or something, it was very very very good, it just doesn't quite qualify as a true Tarantino movie to me simply because it's just one half of Grindhouse and has always felt that way to me, it's always felt more like a movie serial or something like that, not intended to be a full-on epic 'Tarantino movie', but something more along the lines of what he did in 'Four Rooms'..well, somewhere in between that, and a full-on Tarantino movie.
Anyway, Tarantino's the man, I can't make a real list, and I disown the one I just made because most of these are completely interchangeable. Peace..

Really, you liked the first half of Death Proof better? I would say the only reason the movie is worth watching is because of Zoe Bell and her car stunts, and she isn't even in the first half. The movie doesn't really pick up until Kurt Russel starts killing people.

Rather than movie, I ask, what are your favorite scenes. His movies are rife with classic moments.

1. Death Proof Lap DancetCar Crash scene (the musical choices and 180 the movie takes are to me the best he has done)
2. Inglourious Basterds - Opening scene with Hanz Landa of the S.S.
3. Pulp Fiction - Bring out the gimp....
4. KB2 - Michael Madsen and the lonely grave of Paula Shultz
5. Inglourious - Basement Bar Shootout
6. Reservoir Dogs - Story time w/ Mr. Orange (the airport drug carrying story)
7. KB2 - Elle v B

As I reflect, perhaps Django was his most fluent, structured movie. I can't recall a single scene I enjoyed more than any of the ones listed, though I enjoyed Django very much.
