yes, i truly do believe that this movie had a love story mood to it. well in some scenes at least

It's a cross between Blazing Saddles, Roots, and several spaghetti westerns. I absolutely loved it.

Yes. It was that relationship that lead to the ultra violence. The movie makes no sense without the relationship.

Yeah, but the idea is to change the norm; and normally black women tend to rescue themselves. So a black woman playing a damsel in waiting and distress is refreshing to see.

Sure, it's a love story, but it's also a revenge fantasy. I just wish Brumhilda would have got the opportunity to hurt somebody instead of just quivering and crying and waiting for Seigfried to come rescue her.

She didn't have the strength, she had just been pulled out of the hole. Black women are strong, but not that strong ;)
