The film looks good, it sounds great (Marco Beltrami and Buck Sanders' score is full of darkly murmuring woodwinds), and Madison is a pip of a lead.
Really? Did we watch the same movie? Maybe it wasjust my theater, but hi-def this was not. This was the second movie in the last thirty years that I up and left midway through. Both Guy and Katie's performances were like nails down a chalk board. None of them ever hooked me, got me interested, or had me caring for them. They looked bored to be there and it oozed off the screen in thick waves.
I know a lot of the names in this film and have enjoyed so much better from them. Perhaps I hyped myself up for this movie way too much before going to see it, I don't know, but 'boring' is never forgivable in a movie; especialy when I've dished up hard-earned cash to be entertained. I've never been more let down with a film. Shame.

I agree Daniel. This movie was horrible. The entire time I kept noticing all the elements they pulled from other movies to try and get this remake "up to snuff". They failed.
