Too bad Ellen Page won't be in it, but it's hard to blame her for ditching. Nothing kills a career like a genre flick.

I enjoyed this interview and Raimi seems like a cool guy, but does anyone else find his selection of Halloween movies a bit on the tame side?
Besides the Romero flick I mean....."The Others" and "The Grudge"?
They were decent movies, but hardly at the top of my list for All Hallows Eve.
How about the original John Carpenter Halloween? Or something from Argento?

Yeah he sounds like a chill dude, yeah some of his choices were meh. My fav 5 are definitely Psycho, WOLFMAN, EXORCIST, The Shining, and I guess you could say Rosemarys Baby which is pretty tense. I really like Raimi still, I think he gets way too much crap for S3, sure it was dissapointing but it wasn't terrible, I love the Evil Deads, Simple Plan was very good, and Spiderman 2 was awesome and 1 was pretty good, I always thought The Gift was mediocre though.
