Dreadful, dystopian dirge, filled with graphic, gory, gruesome violence - and little else.
How the hell are you even a critic? You call that a review?

Hmmmmm, I think the Golden Girls are calling you grandma!!!
Way to miss the entire pointof the movie/source material.
Go back to reviewing chick-flicks.
I'm still completly shocked as to how these companies can send these so called critics to review a film like this. Surely you would send someone whos done a little research and whos familiar with this genre.

Really!?!?! You didn't like it because it was graphic?? Go F*ck yourself while watching Twilight on a Bieber background music!! Pathetic!!
Sep 25 - 10:30 PM
Would've been better as a romantic comedy, huh? lol

Anyone who writes reviews in all Centered formatting is obviously not fit to write, let alone critique films. This ain't your cup 'o tea, Susan. Go watch Steel Magnolias again.

How dare you voice an opinion, especially when it's your job!
But seriously, the alliteration is too much, tone it down.
Sep 27 - 05:12 AM
Yes, and that is exactly why it was an excellent movie.
Oct 3 - 05:33 AM
What else do you expect? Dredd and his rookie skipping toward sunset before the movie ends?
Oct 4 - 10:56 AM
Well honestly that what this movie is, hell that is what a lot of movies are. If you're done watch golden girls you'll realize that there is an entire genre based on that

While I agree it's your opinion and all, it makes little sense to judge a film if you don't like the whole franchise.
It's a gritty, gory action movie - faithful to the comic predecessor and done surprisingly well. It's not a watered down Hollywoood flick.
For example, I consider romantic comedies a pompous and injust (for men) garbage, so I don't even bother to criticize them. I hate the whole genre so that would be pointless - I am not qualified to make a distinction between a good romantic movie and a bad romantic movie :)

Well well well. Everything you said point me to the theater to see it while I wasn't really interested to go!

There's this thing called adaptation. You probably haven't heard of it, but when I go to see an art-house movie about a young girl's struggle as she comes of age I don't expect to see explosions and special effects.
Similarly, when I go to see a futuristic action film based upon a long-running comic I don't complain about the lack of emotional character development and poignant moments of self-realisation.
Oh! How draining it must be to even think about being open-minded.

I doubt this lady is familiar with the comic books at all. What she describes is what the Judge Dredd is about. Also, the 3 adjectives which are synonyms for the same idea is not a clever or effective method of saying her sensibilities were so offended by the film.
