Critic Review - Chicago Sun-Times

Here is still another illustration of the old Hollywood noir principle that a movie lives its life not through its hero, but within its shadows.

Not meaning to be "that guy", but Mr. Ebert gave it a 3.5, not a 4.

Mr. Ebert is still the best & most informative film reviewer that exists!!!

I love Roger. He always considers every aspect before he makes his final remark. He's a critic who knows he's a critic.

Another solid review by Ebert. Gotta respect his talents considering there are "anti" critics out there like S. Kaufmann writing shi*ty, warped, & just plain old badddd reviews.

I loved Drive, like Mr. Ebert, but I just can't trust him. He's the only person in the whole world who gave movies such as A Clockwork Orange and Full Metal Jacket bad reviews. And those are Kubrick classics! Entertained guaranteed films.

Reservoir Dogs wasn't made very well, but Roger had nothing but respect for it, claiming (successfully) that Tarantino would be huge in time.

Honestly, Full Metal Jacket is NOT as amazing as some say. The first half was completely amazing, and fascinating. The second was like pretty much any other war movie though.
