Drums Of Africa Trailers & Photos

Movie Info

Equatorial Africa is the sweltering setting for Drums of Africa. Brian (Frankie Avalon) is a young man on his first tour of the dark continent. He's there to help out David (Lloyd Bochner), a dedicated industrial engineer with a mission to bring a railroad to the undeveloped area. Along with Ruth (Mariette Hartley), they battle wild animals, head hunters and white slave traders in between bouts of passionate jungle love. Most of the footage seems to be old film clips from "King Solomon's Mines." Avalon sings the title track in the style that made him one of the better known simpering crooners of the early 1960s.more

Another Tarzan-like African jungle tale, except this B-film is insulting to Arabs.
