Duel with the Devils (1977)
Test your eyesight by following the lightning-fast footwork of martial arts master Tan Tao Ling in an action-packed tale of revenge and honor set in pre-World War II China and following one man's fight against invading Japanese forces. Ling Yueh-Hsuing (Ling) was a peaceful man when Japanese soldiers raided his village, but when his family is ruthlessly wiped out and his wife kidnapped by sadistic Japanese soldier, this former pacifist is about to fight back with a vengeance. He'll need a bit more help if he's going to take on the invading army and succeed in finding his wife at the same time though, and hopefully with a little help from Big Ox (Cheng Fu-Heng) and Si-Lan (Angela Mao) the deadly trio will form a force to be reckoned with. When they finally make their way to the towering Pagoda housing the head of the Japanese forces, it's a floor-by-floor fight to the finish that will only cease when the most fearsome fighter has emerged victorious. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi … More
