They took the lousy Soderbergh/Clooney template for Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen and intentionally made this stinker.

I haven't seen the film so I am not debating the veracity of your review or your opinion, but the title of your review doesn't exactly scream good writing. Are you saying that they intentionally made a bad film, which I would highly doubt, or are you saying they intentionally made the movie Duplicity, which I'm guessing they did? What I am saying is that your use of the word `intentionally' doesn't quite make sense. And, quite frankly, I enjoyed Oceans 11 quite a bit, as did the majority of critics, which explains the 80% fresh rating on this site. I'd rather forget 12 and 13 was okay. If you had said they took the lousy template for the bad Oceans movies, that would have made more sense. You don't pick a movie the critics liked and compare it to a movie you don't like. It's like saying that a movie took the lousy template of The Dark Knight and made this bad movie. You see how that wouldn't really make sense. I also had a problem with the review itself. Most of it seems to be taken up by you describing what happens in the movie. Why do you do this? This is incredibly lazy writing. It's also annoying for someone to read who might not want to know the details of the movie before seeing it. Good writers are able to discuss things in their review without simply giving a blow by blow of what happens in the movie. Any moron with a computer can do that. What separates good critics from the rest is the ability to formulate an intelligent review that entertains and informs the reader without giving anything away. Even if they didn't like the film.
