The Hangover Part III
First thing that popped into my head when reading that was Grand Theft Auto. Anyway, I am assuming from the title this is going to be about the San Andreas fault making a huge shift and causing a massive earthquake. We have already seen this; it was the only scene worth watching in 2012.

it sounds like Grand Theft Auto . . . in fact, SAN ANDREAS should be a Grand Theft Auto Movie in 3-D in order to outdo DRIVE which is already "GTA: The Movie" using a different title.
In DRIVE, the director shoots Ryan Gosling driving backwards and then the director reverses the film to give it a surreal effect . . . so, with Drive, you have a total BULLSHIT MOVIE that is surrealistically photographed and then, because DRIVE sports a modicum of artistic flair, "everybody" says Drive is a great film.
Its a SHAME that Escape From New York is in turn-around, I LOVE THE REMAKES, The Remakes (i.e. The Crazies, The Hills Have Eyes, Last House on the Left, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Halloween, Dawn of the Dead) are awesome to me in the sense that they allow me to see the original film re-imagined and re-envisioned.

I have a very soft spot for disaster movies. I will see this. But not in 3D. I hate 3D.

Earthquake movie? Pass. It's just an excuse for a bad story with has-been actors to bore up the screen for an hour or so, with CGI scenes inserted between.

As a geologist and a film student (odd time in college), I think this is going to make me cringe on two separate levels. Hopefully not as bad as the unholy abomination that was The Core.
