From director Peter Richardson, creator of some of England's most popular TV comedies, comes an offbeat yarn about a transsexual revolutionary. After he's fired from a job at a snotty, upper-class restaurant, Alex tries to receive unemployment. But while waiting on line to apply, Alex gets fed up with the rotten attitude of the employees. And, together with a down on his luck tramp named Ron, Alex takes the entire place hostage - thus launching his career as a radical rebel! Later, the duo teams up with a Russian spy named Commander Fortune and wages war against the corrupt Home Secretary -- the Cockney bully Nosher. The climax comes, however, when Alex and his friends become owners of the posh eatery that once sent Alex packing... and start serving some unusual dishes to the clientele. [More]
