Exclusive: Eden Lake Poster Revealed
We debut the UK Quad for a chilling new horror movie
RT has been given an exclusive look at a new poster for chilling new horror movie Eden Lake!
When nursery teacher Jenny (Kelly Reilly) escapes to the country for a relaxing weekend away with her boyfriend, she is unaware of a romantic surprise he has in store. The location is perfect. A lake enclosed by woodlands, seemingly deserted. The scene is set for a picturesque proposal. But before the happy couple can enjoy the retreat, their peace is shattered by a gang of violent youths. What begins is a shocking and unrelenting game of cat-and-mouse, as Jenny is forced to fight back against her aggressors.

Written and directed by James Watkins and co-starring Michael Fassbender and Thomas Turgoose, Eden Lake hits UK cinemas on September 12th and, judging from early reactions from critics, is set to take on the world shortly afterwards. Rest assured, RT will have more on the film very soon!

coltjohnson1156 writes: on Aug 08 2008 12:59 PM There really aren't many good qualities in horror films anymore. The Strangers was a terrible movie, but it did its job in scaring you. And I'm kinda thinking UK is doing a better job with its scares, so, I'd say if there's 4 stars from Empire, it might be worth taking a look at. (Reply to this) |

rockclmbr6 writes: on Aug 08 2008 02:28 PM Wow, looks EXACTLY like Them. Them was pretty darn creepy though, so maybe I'll give this a look... They couldn't have done a better job ripping off the DVD cover though. Like Admiral Snowstorm said, they just added a girl in front of it. P.S. It says "judging by early reactions from critics" but then there are no reviews on the page. Grr. *runs to Google* (Reply to this) |
