Movie Info

During and after the overthrow of Chilean President Salvatore Allende in September 1973, Swedish ambassador Harald Edelstam (Michael Nyqvist) takes great risks to hide and protect political refugees. Retracing Edelstam's political and personal battles in close detail, this engaging biographical docu-drama was shot on location in Santiago. Kate del Castillo co-stars as Edelstam's beloved Consuelo Fuentes.
