Please don't let Denzel Washington or Will Smith star in the MLK movie, whatever you do. They have trouble getting over their "I'm Denzel/Will Smith portraying so-and-so" issues instead of "I'm so-and-so" and I'm really convincing and you don't even think about the fact that I'm watching a specific actor portraying a character.

That shouldn't be a problem since neither of them even remotely resemble MLK. I would recommend Jeffrey Wright, who played King in the film "Boycott". But there are many other supporting roles available. Denzel could be an excellent Bayard Rustin. Anthony Mackay would make a great Jesse Jackson. Forest Whitaker for Ralph Abernathy, etc.
