END OF WATCH, SEARCHING FOR SUGAR MAN, and THE IMPOSTER are all definate rentals for me. If you want to see two other Oscar-nominated docs, THE INVISIBLE WAR and HOW TO SURVIVE A PLAGUE are both streaming on Netflix. THE PAPER BOY almost looks like a guilty pleasure, I don't know...

Also Death Race 3: Inferno is out. Death Race 2 was surprisingly awesome.

'Searching for Sugarman' is fantastic.
Hugely enjoyable 'couldn't make it up' stuff.
I wouldn't be a fan of the music but the story is most rewarding.

The docs are my must-sees (and that includes "Pina"). I saw "Ivan's Childhood" for the first time this year, and it's a beautiful film even if it didn't affect me like the other Tarkovskys. It'll be interesting to see the Criterion bonuses for that. I'll probably get around to "End of Watch" eventually, but I still have a lot of Oscar catching up at the moment.

Definitely getting End of Watch as I missed it in theaters. That movie just looks too good to pass up especially what I hear when it comes to Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena. May rent the Paperboy. That doesnt look too special. The others I'll pass on......

Oh just forget that Death Race 3: Inferno is out. It is certainly better than at least half of the action movies that come out in theatres. Watch Death Race 2 while you are at it.
