Wolfgang Petersen Still on Enders Game and Two More Sci-fi Projects
With Hollywood adapting children's books no one's ever heard of to cash in on the fantasy craze, one classic still struggles in Hollywood. Ender's Game is Orson Scott Card's sci-fi tale of children trained in battle school to fight off an alien race in the future. Director Wolfgang Petersen is still holding out hope that he'll crack that script.

New Screenwriter Climbs Aboard "Halo"
Those who've been following the "Halo" trip from Xbox to movie screen are probably well aware that the original screenplay was penned by "28 Days Later" scribe Alex Garland. And now we get word that a rookie screenwriter has been given the chance to give the project a second draft -- and the kid certainly seems to have his video game pedigree in order.
