Of the three, the Croods was the best, Epic would be in second or third place cause I haven't seen Escape from Planet Earth, but my mom and brother went and said it was awesome.

I actually liked Epic. I think the main problem is that a) they developed it for kids, and b) they were too localized in their action. And c) The people looked crappy. They needed more realistic people.

The story was decent (could have been developed a bit more), the relationship aspects could have been left at the wayside, and the slapstick should have been dropped in favor of a more serious story.

I'd like to defend The Croods, it wasn't up there with things like Up or even as decent as Wreck-it Ralph, but it proved to be a lot more entertaining than the recent Ice Age and Madagascar installments!

I'd say The Croods > Epic > Escape From Planet Earth. I didn't particularly care for any of them but Dreamworks wins this round by a long shot. EFPE was absolutely dreadful.
