Produced by Martin Scorsese, the film intercuts Clapton playing at the historic Filmore East along with classic clips of the people who made the songs famous. You won't hear such Clapton hits as "Layla", "Wonderful Tonight" or the like. What you will hear is a great blues concert that puts the songs in their proper context.
A fantastic exploration of the blues genre from one of the elder statesmen of rock.
