ESCAPE FROM COLDITZ Superior entertainment. Suspenseful and exciting WWII drama in which the Nazis are not the only bad guys. 6.5/10. The movie felt as long as World War II itself, but it is an excellent story, very good period detail, well cast with incredibly good art direction and cinematography. Way too many subplots and it jumps around way too much. 1957's The Colditz Story is much better and half the length.
