Box Office Guru Wrapup: Pottermania Strikes with $330M Global Bow
Hogwarts fans flexed their muscles at the North American box office showing up in droves once again for the extended opening weekend of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" which seized control of the multiplexes with its top spot debut. Most holdovers fared well too as no film in the top ten suffered a decline of more than 50%.

Pixar scored its eighth consecutive number one opening with the animated feature "Ratatouille" which easily topped the North American box office chart this weekend. Bruce Willis got the action going in second place with the debut of his new shoot-em-up sequel "Live Free or Die Hard."

The "Hulk" Gets a New Creator!
For Ang Lee's "Hulk," it was Industrial Light & Magic that brought the massive green guy to life on the silver screen. But when it comes to Louis Leterrier's follow-up, "The Incredible Hulk," Universal is going with a company called Rhythm & Hues Studio.

Lauren Graham Discusses Evan the "Almighty"
The most lavish movies of the summer are usually the big action spectacles, but this year a comedy proves to be the most epic. "Evan Almighty" has Steve Carell's character, Evan Baxter, tasked by God (Morgan Freeman) to build an ark and collect two of every animal. Lauren Graham is his love interest, and she was in awe.

Few doubt that Steve Carell is an outsized comic talent. But the Los Angeles Times is suggesting that his current project, "Evan Almighty," is getting a reputation for its outsized budget, one that could ultimately run as high as $225 million, which would make it the costliest comedy of all time.
