Critic Review - Eye for Film

While the spareness and seriousness of the film are to be admired, and Gibson makes for a sympathetic protagonist, there is little here that we have not seen before (even if it may have been set after), and even less that rivets the attention.

Agree. I was actually surprised by the quality of this little indie horror film. While the live action comic cutaways were a bit of a jar, knocking you out of the movie occassionally, I eventually got used to them. This will likely find an audience over time and eventually reach cult status.
