Critic Review - New York Times

The Exorcist is not an unintelligently put-together film, which makes one all the more impatient with it.

Well Mr Canby, I NOT say that your review is NOT without unintelligent remarks and unremarkable intelligence.

Kind of like how you are not an intelligent person?

Seriously, Vincent, I find your reviews annoying. The Exorcist, The Godfather pt. II; you clearly are just here to find fault with movies everyone likes.

Wow, you truly have nothing to share save your bitterness towards good film. My sympathies.

This review should be amended and changed to positive. The NY Times included "The Exorcist" on its list of the 1000 Greatest Movies.

Here's the list:

And yes, Vincent Canby hated everything. He didn't even like Patton, Night of the Living Dead (1968 George Romero version), The Godfather Part II, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Rocky, Alien, The Empire Strikes Back OR Return of the Jedi, A Christmas Story (who doesn't like A Christmas Story??), John Carpenter's The Thing etc.

Im glad your dead.'

You're glad someone's dead because you don't agree with a movie review they gave? That's just really low and disrespectful.

Also, get your grammar right before insulting people.

You're obviously just here to find something wrong with good movies. Kinda funny how everyone I know and have talked to seems to like this movie. Your rating is highly invalid, as is all your other ones. I advise you stop rating movies. Thanks, babe. :)

This is why I can type into google toolbar, *name of movie* eb, and it fills in ebert's name, but *name of movie* canb yields no suggestions

This is why eb is completed by google to ebert after the title of a movie, but canb waits for more input.

This guy really is a bad critic. I swear he hates every film, he gave Empire Strikes Back, Alien, Rocky, The Godfather 2, Night of the Living Dead, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Blazing Saddles all rotten review where anyone who was seen them would know they are all amazing films.

Why do NY Times keep putting up old reviews? It's really pointless... This should be removed and replaced with an up to date review. Along with others (Godfather, Alien, Empire Strikes Back Etc)
Especially because this film is included in the NY Times best movies list!
