Critic Review - Christianity Today

The film shows that Intelligent Design should be on the table for discussion. But if you're looking for ammo to argue your Darwinist friends under the table, look elsewhere.

So he really says it's a BAD movie, but since he's writing to an ignorantly biased audience who demand it, he'll pretend he enjoyed, or really wanted to enjoy, it anyway and "recommend" it.

And Xians wonder why the things they say earn no respect from anyone not drinking the Kool-aid.

i hope if anybody takes this movie seriously, they will please visit a couple sites.

search "scientific american mark mathis" on youtube.

search "pz myers expelled from expelled" on youtube.

or go to "expelledexposed.com"

this movie is only laughable to a certain extent... around half an hour in it starts to get pretty depressing if you know anything about the subject matter. it's a decent concept if only it remained neutral and if it actually explained evolution or intelligent design in the film. i still can't get over blatant bombardment of nazi images whenever evolution/darwinism/atheism is mentioned in the movie. it's obvious propaganda(which actually uses nazi propaganda film footage in the movie) and it's hard to believe this would persuade anybody who is a truly free thinker.

On the table for discussion? So that when taking a break from research and the scientific method, we can all knock around some superstition?

Idiot.

Idiot?See it's people like you that tick me off. When actual facts are proposed and people support it,people like you are reduced to name calling. That sounded like a line from a bad spoof.

People like him? LOL. So it's a fact that religious superstition such as a man walking on water, two people being created from the dirt and every species on the planet living on a boat, survive the "great flood" are all viable sources of historical accounts of our planet? Get real.

Watch this REAL documentary on the court case in Dover, PA, where evolution and intelligent design was put on trial. It's very informative, especially chapter 5-7. You will find out who the real liars are in this debate.

...Primarily because there is no good scientific argument that starts with "I believe..." Thats why ID is junk.

Yes, everybody, Christianity Today had something positive to say about this movie! And I agree with what they said!
Who cares if they're Christian? Get over it, it's just a review.

One last thing, there is just as much "I believe" in Evolution as there is in Intelligent Design.

One last thing, there is just as much "I believe" in Evolution as there is in Intelligent Design. They both deserve to be studied equally.

As soon as creationists/ID campaigners submit their "theories" for peer review we can get the ball rolling...

...still waiting.

Junk science, just saying.

Um, no, there is not just as much "I believe" in evolution is there is in Intelligent Design. There is in fact NO "i believe" in Evolution.

And if Intelligent Design wants to get put on the table with evolution, put it through the scientific process like EVERY OTHER SINGLE THING is science has had to before. It is completely unfair to just toss it on the table because a small minority has dellusioned themselves into believing it. Its just ridiculous. This review obviously had a Christian agenda behind it. It was not objectively reviewed

This ridiculous review makes me wonder why Christianity Today is even participating on this site.
