Critic Review - AV Club

Expelled is a classic bait-and-switch, presenting itself as a plea for freedom in the scientific marketplace of ideas, while actually delivering a grossly unfair, contradictory, and ultimately repugnant attack on Darwinists.

You need to stick to reviewing brainless Hollwood movies.

If anyone was grossly unfair, it was the Darwinists who, upon simple proding by Ben Stein, revealed themselves to be mean-spirited and unscientific idiots. For example, the atheist who in the attempt to show his superior argument, states he doesn't know the causation of a cell grown or a crystal, or that life could have been seeded here by aliens (thereby unknowingly supporting Intelligent Design--at least on this level)!

Posters considering attacking me on religious grounds should know in advance I am not religious... and don't have any idea what the source of the Intelligent Design would be. Maybe we can agree it was aliens. ;-)Afterwards we can argue the causation of the aliens?

The film didn't hit a nerve with liberals, the film coupled with negative reviews hit a nerve of the Fundamentalist Morons who deny evolution in favor of talking snake stories. The film itself was just bad. Period. Regardless of which side you're on of the topic itself. That's the problem with religion, it blinds you to the point where you can even tell a good film from a bad film because it contradicts your agenda!

No matter what you believe, it must be admitted that the arguments postulated were at a level below that of a 2nd grader. To all you fundies (or whatever) so vigorously supporting this tripe, don't you want actual arguments in support of your cause? Just because you agree with Stein's conclusion doesn't mean you're obligated to defend his bull****.

lol... way too many religious morons.

I've never seen this many comments under reviews for regular hollywood trash. I wonder why. are you guys just butthurt because this failure of a film happens to advocate the good ol' Christian faith?

give me one reason why enlightened scientists should take people like you seriously, who have nothing but empty insults in your arsenal. for the nearly 100 years of Creationist movements in America, you have yet to provide a single shred of scientific evidence. you are all just a bunch of talks, nothing more.
