Its feel-good storyline, shopworn message, and bottomless sermonizing would have played better in Sunday school than on the big screen, which is -- let's face it -- Babylon's turf.

And yet, it grossed $10 million. You'd almost have to say God was behind them, ah?

Well, "Deep Throat" may have grossed as much as 600 million USD, so it looks like we finally have conclusive proof that god likes blowjobs better than football and/or Christians? LOL, TOLD YOU SO

I agree with everything except the "shopworn message and bottomless sermonizing." But this movie's success proves that Babylon better watch out!

For the people who disagree with this movie at the theaters and for it's existance as far as that goes, I pray that God would one day open ur spiritual eyes and watch it again. Everyone has giants in our lives, how r u going to face them? This movie is a great teaching tool on how to keep the faith when the going gets rough. This is easily one of my all time favorite movies. Also highly suggest flywheel and fireproof.
