The left will stay left, the right will stay right and the folks on the fence will still be rational rather than blindly following this capped crusader.

Academy Award-winning director Michael Moore examines the Bush administration's financial ties to Saudi Arabia and the bin Laden family in FAHRENHEIT 9/11, a well-researched, fast-paced, highly controversial, and important documentary that won the Palme d'Or at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. Using actual footage and declassified documents, Moore takes a detailed look into political events both before and after the attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, beginning with the polarizing Supreme Court decision that ultimately gave the state of Florida and the 2000 election to George W. Bush. Moore reveals how the U.S. government helped the bin Laden family return to Saudi Arabia immediately after September 11, when all other flights were still grounded; and examines military recruiting techniques in such poor areas as his own hometown of Flint, Michigan. He even attempts to get congressmen to enlist their own sons and daughters into the military. The writer-director also visits with the troops, including at a VA hospital where soldiers are having second thoughts about America's involvement in Iraq, and spends time with a family whose eldest son is fighting in Iraq. FAHRENHEIT 9/11 is a worthy successor to Moore's previous documentaries, ROGER & ME, THE BIG ONE, and BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE, once again shining a light on the past, present, and future of the US. Reviews for Fahrenheit 9/11
Moore never tries to hide his agenda. This is a first-person, nonfiction film, not a special on the History Channel.
As a film, Moore paints a convincing argument for the natural class conflict in war. As a political statement, its ambition may hurt its ability to stand historically.
It would be interesting to see the other side's equivalent argument; but they had their chances to prove their version of the truth and continually failed. Check this one.
...the film's rambling nature prevents it from becoming the riveting piece of work Moore surely intended it to be.
Objectivity and balance are nowhere to be seen or heard in Fahrenheit 9/11. Moore’s moral outrage drives his film. His passion is his film's strength as well as its weakness.
Moore would,...have us believe that Baghdad under Hussein was a utopia of children in playgrounds and happy, smiling people everywhere before the U.S. moved in.
My only hope is that Moore's stated aim for the film to help defeat Bush in November is fulfilled.
...Guns are evil, America is evil, capitalism is evil, Reagan and the entire Bush clan are evil, and if you didn’t vote for Nader last time out, you’re probably evil too.
A stirring but self-contradictory movie, a valuable time capsule as well as a supercilious party trick, a once-in-a-lifetime phenom as well as a missed opportunity.
An important documentary and a spellbinding entertainment. Laugh-aloud funny, razor sharp, informative, humane, enraging, and powerful, oftentimes all of the above at once.
Fahrenheit 9/11 is patriotic, brave, controversial and essential viewing for anyone who loves their country and world.
An unabashedly partisan challenge both to the administration and to all who accept what they are told without questioning...If this be treason, make the most of it!
The best thing about Fahrenheit 9/11 is that viewers can disagree with the filmmaker's own assessment that the war was fought for money and power but still emerge with some healthy questions of their own.
Unlike Bowling For Columbine, which editorially often seemed something less than the sum of its sketch-comedy parts, Fahrenheit 9/11 makes its case carefully and clearly.
An extremely effective advertisement for Michael Moore's political ideas and gut feelings.
[Moore] lets the disturbing images and even more disturbing statistics carry the film more than his own opinion.
