Frankie (Carmine Giovinazzo) and Duke (Justin Louis) are living in a dilapidated L.A. apartment, hoping to leave the nest and their alcoholic mother (Karen Black). These displaced New Yorkers meet one of their own kind in Nicky (Richard Portnow), a mobster in exile, and they promptly rob his delivery truck full of women's footwear. Nicky utilizes his mobster savvy to hunt down his fellow New York expatriates in this Mafia comedy. Family plays an important part not only in the narrative, but in the film's creation as well. The Giovinazzo family, who made the cult classic COMBAT SHOCK, perform many duties on this independent production. [More]
