Direction, acting, and even the dialogue are strong -- absolutely top notch. They are the work of professionals. It's the story line that bottlenecks the whole process.
the movie was great, the acting everything.. its the ending that really bothered me, the second half that is.. i mean wat was the point of that whole scene with the parents talking about "wat does he see in her" i mean obviously nothing, i was expecting a woman who was misunderstood but only understood by the man who loves her but thats not the direction that took.. i guess wat im sayin is the twists were not satisfying of course in the short time and not deep enough to teach..which was the direction i felt the movie shud have taken with sarah jessica parker's nervousness and claire dane's "i know how she may seem" i feel the movie shud have shown more of how people should be less judgemental and the movie should have been more entertaining and romantic if they had shown how the man is in love with someone and no one else can see that.. but i guess thats more becuz i took the movie so personally cuz i cud identify with sarah's character and becuz i feel thats how everyone is with me and my love, anyway yea the movie's great for a little while but then it gets disappointing :(
