Chiklis Talks "Fantastic Four 2" and "3"
IGN Movies recently corralled actor Michael Chiklis ("The Shield") to ask him about possible developments for his "Fantastic Four" character, Ben Grimm -- A.K.A. The Thing -- in this summer's "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," as well as potential future installments of the franchise.
According to Chiklis, don't expect much onscreen progress in the relationship between his character and Alicia Masters (played by Kerry Washington) this time around, but series director Tim Story has plans for the couple:
"There is a little bit more of that, but not more than the first. There's a little bit more of the continuation of that. But in the following one, in the third one, there's really quite a substantial thing coming between them."

Chiklis as The Thing in the first "Fantastic Four."
Chiklis also hinted that he's been given some clues as to where the series might go from here:
"Tim [Story] has given me some insight in the way he wants to go, and I won't tell you. I can't. Well, I really can't! I mean, I can't!"
"Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" hits screens July 4th.
